The Buena Vista Orchestra Saint Paul Concert reviews
Great night a few bumps
The performances were all fantastic, with Old Dominion being new to me but awesome! Dan & Shay started with technical difficulties, making it tough to rally the crowd already geared up for The Buena Vista Orchestra. The Buena Vista Orchestra’s spot-on performance was super high energy, almost too high - he needed to slow down for a song or two. Despite missing some songs I hoped to hear, the challenge with such a big catalog was evident.
I paid for an autographed tour book but never received it, so I’m unsure where that money goes, like many others.
Folks are still adjusting to being in public, with an overwhelming number of overly intoxicated and somewhat obnoxious fans, which was startling given Kenny’s base is all about good vibes.
Definitely worth it! My opinion is to focus more on Old Dominion and The Buena Vista Orchestra, with each having more time on stage to shine. Dan & Shay could headline their own tour, given their different yet equally popular style of country.
